To automate Spent and have your expenses automatically added when you pay with Apple Pay, you must follow these steps:

1. Install the Shortcuts app on your phone

2. Open the Automation section in the Shortcuts app

1. Create a new automation (with the + button, in the top right)

1. Look for the Wallet automation

1. Select your cards and the following options

1. Click next

2. Select the option Create new shortcut

1. Search for Spent and select the automation

1. In the Name option, tap Select variable and select Shortcut Input.

Then tap Shortcut Input and select Merchant so that the name of the merchant is added as the expense name.

1. In the Amount option, tap Select variable and select Shortcut Input.

Then tap Shortcut Input and select Amount so that it automatically adds the amount to the expense.
